Case 001 · Our formal case
ReunitedCash reward · amount not posted
MISSING: Thu Oct 22, 2026, 7:00 AM FROM: 324 Parker Ave, East Toledo
Look for: curly white coat, black nose. No collar, per his flyer.
Oct 30, 2026Reunited! Max’s owner Assia posted this morning that he has been found and is now home and safe. We’re marking Max found on his owner’s word — Case 001 is the happy ending this board exists for. Her post doesn’t say where he was found, so we’re not guessing.
Oct 30, 2026Overnight check: LC4’s full list re-pulled — 96 dogs, no new intakes, and still no white poodle. No new matching Petco cards either. Max’s flyer was reshared into four more groups late Oct 29, so it is circulating — no new sighting with it.
Oct 29, 2026Late-evening check: no white poodle among the new shelter intakes we could verify tonight, and no new matching cards on Petco Love Lost. Checks continue.
Oct 29, 2026Checked again in the afternoon: LC4’s list is at 100 dogs, with three new dogs today — none of them a poodle.
Oct 29, 2026Lucas County Canine Care’s full list (101 dogs) checked again: still no white poodle on it.
Oct 23, 2026Last confirmed sighting, about 2 PM near Woodville & Navarre by Prentice Park. Text-only — no photo exists.
Oct 28, 2026Lucas County Canine Care’s full list checked: no white poodle on it. The only poodle listed (A055518) is brown and female.
Oct 28, 2026Petco Love Lost cards within about 50 miles checked: no match.
Oct 28, 2026Two found-dog posts from that day ruled out on their photos: a pit bull found by Whitmer High School, and two brown pit-type dogs.
King
Dog · French Bulldog, male
Strong photo match$500 reward
MISSING: Oct 20, 2026 FROM: Culbertson & N Main St, Fostoria
Look for: lilac & tan (gray & brown). Smooth blue-gray coat with two tan eyebrow dots on the gray, tan cheeks, pale eyes, pink inner ears.
The $500 reward was on a flyer for King and his housemate together; whether the full amount stands for King alone is unconfirmed.

Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: A055562 is still off LC4’s online list — wording unchanged, confirmed three separate ways, and LC4’s list is unchanged at 96 dogs with no new arrivals. No change; King stays home and reunited.

LC4’s list now stands at 96 dogs: two dogs left the list and one new brown brindle pit bull arrived (ruled out on photos for two of our missing dogs). No change; King stays home and reunited.
Nov 1, 2026Afternoon check: A055562 is still off LC4’s online list — wording unchanged, confirmed two independent ways. LC4’s list stands at 97 dogs: three dogs left the list and three new ones arrived today, none of them a French Bulldog. No change; King stays home and reunited.
Nov 1, 2026Midday check: A055562 is still off LC4’s online list — his page wording is unchanged, and LC4’s full list (97 dogs) was confirmed two independent ways. No change; King stays home and reunited.
Oct 29, 2026Reunited! King’s owner posted in a Fostoria group that Kali and King have both been recovered, home with only minor health issues. We’re marking King found on his owner’s word — the happy ending this board exists for.
Oct 29, 2026Checked again this evening: A055562 is still off LC4’s online list — his page still says he is no longer in the online database. No change from this afternoon.
Oct 29, 2026Checked again in the afternoon: A055562 has come off LC4’s online list. His listing page now says he is no longer in the online database and to check with the shelter about his availability. We don’t know why — a dog can come off that list for more than one reason — so the next step is a call to LC4 to ask his status.
Oct 29, 2026Photo match: LC4 posted a photo of A055562 late this morning. We compared it with King’s owner photo feature by feature, and a second, independent photo check agreed — the markings match, including the two tan brow dots. That is not the final word: his family seeing him in person at LC4 is. Stray holds are short, so today matters.
Oct 29, 2026Two found French Bulldogs in Mt. Gilead ruled out on photos: the gray dog’s tan is one forehead mask, not King’s two brow dots, and its eyes are dark. The owner’s own ruling matches ours.
Oct 29, 2026A fawn Frenchie photographed in a car (the Dana Miller post) ruled out on photo: uniform fawn coat, where King is lilac-gray and tan.
Oct 29, 2026PawBoost found listings from Oct 24–28 within 25–50 miles checked: zero French Bulldogs.
Oct 26, 2026“Tank” (LC4 A055394), another gray-and-tan Frenchie, was ruled out by King’s family.
Archie
Dog · Dachshund mix, male, 25 lbs
Still missing$2,000 reward
MISSING: Mar 13, 2026 FROM: West Crawford Ave, Toledo (first published in the Nov 1, 2026 reshares)
Look for: solid red-brown, long body, floppy ears, a small white patch on his chest, black nose. He is wearing a collar in his flyer photo.
Location update (Nov 1, 2026): for months no post said where Archie went missing; the Nov 1 reshares of his flyer now say West Crawford Ave, Toledo. We print what the posts say, nothing more.
Nov 3, 2026Overnight check: the red hound mix at the Wood County shelter who was checked against Archie at text level (no match claimed) has been transferred to a rescue, Planned Pethood. That changes nothing about Archie’s lead — it was never a photo match. Archie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: his flyer was shared again tonight, and the shares now say where he went missing — West Crawford Ave., Toledo — the first time a location has been published with his flyer. Archie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026His flyer was reshared again this afternoon into at least nine local groups. Circulation only; no sighting came with the shares. He is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026His flyer was reshared again today into five local groups — “Archie is not home yet.” Circulation only; no sighting came with the shares. He is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026His flyer was reshared into five more local groups this afternoon — still circulating, no sighting came with the shares. He is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026A red hound mix found in Millbury came into the Wood County shelter today (they call him Finnigan). Right color family, but his shelter photos do not clearly show Archie’s long body or white chest patch, so this stays a text-level note, not a match.
Oct 30, 2026His flyer was reshared into at least a dozen local groups today — the same flyer, still circulating. No sighting came with the shares. He is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s only Dachshund mix, Karloff (A055420), ruled out on photos: he is dark brindle all over; Archie is solid red-brown.
Oct 29, 2026Flyer read in full. He is still missing and actively reshared every week (Sep 2–Oct 27 and counting).
Oct 29, 2026No origin post located in the groups searched — the flyer travels by resharing.
Oct 29, 2026A different dog also named Archie (part of a Wauseon pair, Fulton County) is not this dog. The two are kept separate in our notes.
Demon
Dog · Pit bull, male
Still missing$200 reward
MISSING: Oct 22, 2026, 7:00 PM FROM: Jaime Farr Park, Point Place / North Toledo
Look for: dark gray-brown solid coat — his owner describes him as a grey pit bull with white spots. Small white patch on his chest, brown eyes, and a blue collar (it reads teal in his photo).
Nov 3, 2026A dark brindle pit-type dog found off Prouty & Broadway was checked against Demon: the small white chest patch fits, but the brindle striping does not match his solid coat, so no match is claimed. The dog slipped its lead and is still loose in that area. Demon is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Night check: a fuller look at the LC4 pit mix photo we have been watching (A055587) shows a paler muzzle and a larger white chest patch than Demon’s small one — that leans against, but the kennel bars blur the face and we still cannot pull the photo file for a full comparison, so the lead stays unproven either way and the file check is still owed. Demon is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Overnight check: LC4’s list is unchanged at 96 dogs — no new gray or blue pit bull arrived, and there is no new lead on Demon. Demon is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: a pit bull found tonight on Sylvania Ave near Drexel/Lockwood is being kept safe by his finder. He is red-brown with a white blaze up his face — Demon’s face is solid with no white on it, so this is not a match. Demon is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: a brown brindle pit bull who arrived at LC4 today (A055603) has been ruled out on photos — he has bold dark striping and a black muzzle, and Demon is solid dark gray-brown. An independent photo check agreed. Demon is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026Neighbors reshared the Webber’s dog update this afternoon: he was picked up on Edgewater in Michigan, by Weber’s, and is going to the Monroe, Michigan pound instead of Lucas County — the same routing reported this morning. No owner has claimed him in the posts we read. Demon is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026A gray-brown pit bull (shelter name Lucky) who came into LC4 on Oct 27 was photo-checked against Demon and ruled out: his face and muzzle are pale tan where Demon’s are solid dark.
Oct 30, 2026Update on the Webber’s dog: he is off the street. After morning sightings around Edgewater in Point Place, neighbors caught him on Edgewater (on the Michigan side of the Point). He was taken to LC4, but LC4 does not take Michigan strays, so he was routed to Monroe County Animal Control. He is a different dog from Demon (Demon’s owner ruled on that this morning — see below), and Demon is still missing. If the Webber’s dog might be yours, Monroe County Animal Control is where to ask.
Oct 30, 2026His owner has ruled on the Webber’s dog: it is not Demon. She posted this morning, with a screenshot of the finder’s post: “This is not demon… This is not him.” The owner’s word settles it, so that lead is closed. Demon is still missing. The Webber’s dog is a different dog, and neighbors posted this morning that he is still loose near Webber’s — if you are in Point Place, please keep an eye out for him too.
Oct 30, 2026We re-read the finder’s thread in the early hours: still no update from the finder and no word that the dog was picked up — only more comments from neighbors, split the same way. He is still loose in Point Place as far as any record shows, and we still are not calling it Demon.
Oct 30, 2026Update on the Webber’s dog below: the finder replied late Oct 29 that she could not contain him — he came to her car door, then got scared and barked when she got out, and she had to leave him there. Nothing posted since says he was picked up, and he is not on LC4’s list as of this check — so as far as any record shows, a gray pit bull–type dog is still loose in Point Place. Commenters are split on whether he is Demon; we still are not calling it Demon.
Oct 29, 2026Text-only lead, not a match: a gray-blue pit bull–type male was found this evening at Webber’s Riverside Restaurant in Point Place — the same neighborhood Demon ran from — and the finder posted that she was staying with him. A close read of the finder’s full-size photo shows a solid face with no white, a white patch in the center of the chest, and a blue collar — all in line with Demon — but we could not pull the photo file for our full comparison process, so we are not calling it Demon. Photo check still owed.
Oct 29, 2026Two LC4 males ruled out on their photos: A055526 has a big white blaze up his face (Demon’s face is solid), and A043050 is warm brown with a black muzzle (Demon is blue-gray).
Oct 28, 2026Owner’s post: still missing.
Oct 29, 2026Owner’s posts from Oct 22–28 collected; his description and photo ID written into our board.
Sargent
Dog · Pit bull puppy, male
Still missingReward offered · amount not posted
MISSING: About Oct 6, 2026 FROM: Not in his post — see the note below
Look for: blue-gray brindle — striped, not spotted. Pale blue-gray eyes, white chest with gray spotting, brindle legs, black collar.
Sargent was believed taken from his owner’s litter, and his owner says he has not been found at the pounds. His post and its comments don’t say where he went missing from — another gap we print rather than fill in. He is not the N. Superior St puppy lower on this board: Sargent is brindle with a solid gray face.
Poster Shannon Thomas: contact via the owner’s post
Our checks & updates
Nov 2, 2026Night check: his still-missing post was shared again tonight — the same flyer, no sighting and no new lead. LC4’s one new arrival tonight is a female mixed breed, not a puppy like him. Sargent is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: the brown brindle pit bull who arrived at LC4 today (A055603) has been ruled out on photos — he is a warm brown adult with dark eyes; Sargent is a blue-gray brindle puppy with pale eyes. An independent photo check agreed. Sargent is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s Scarecrow (A055210) ruled out on photos: a grown dog with a white blaze up his face. Two other brindle males were already at LC4 before Sargent went missing.
Oct 29, 2026His Oct 27 post is the only post about him in the 15 groups we searched.
Oct 29, 2026One commenter’s tip about a found pit bull (“Oregon trail”) is text-only, and we never located that found post — so it stays an open text lead, not a sighting.
Zuri
Dog · French Bulldog, female
Still missingCash reward · amount not posted
MISSING: Morning of Oct 25, 2026 FROM: West Toledo
Look for: fluffy merle — a gray, tan, and black mottled coat, tan legs, long fur fringing her ears, dark eyes.
Nov 3, 2026Late-afternoon check: no new comments on the West Toledo found-Frenchie thread, and still nothing from Zuri’s owner — the earlier “found” claim in that thread remains unconfirmed by her owner. A black French Bulldog found in Sylvania today was a different dog (solid black, not her fluffy merle) and is back with her own owner. Zuri is still listed as missing.
Nov 3, 2026Afternoon check: no new comments on the West Toledo found-Frenchie thread, and still nothing from Zuri’s owner. The earlier “found” claim in that thread remains unconfirmed by her owner, and no French Bulldog turned up in today’s shelter or group checks. Zuri is still listed as missing.
Nov 3, 2026Late-morning check: no new comments on the West Toledo found-Frenchie thread, and still nothing from Zuri’s owner. The earlier “found” claim in that thread remains unconfirmed by her owner. Zuri is still listed as missing.
Nov 3, 2026Morning check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since Nov 1, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. No French Bulldog turned up in any of this morning’s shelter or group checks either. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 3, 2026Early-morning check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since Nov 1, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. No French Bulldog turned up in any of tonight’s shelter or group checks either. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 3, 2026Overnight check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since Nov 1, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. No French Bulldog turned up in any of tonight’s shelter or group checks either. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Night check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. No French Bulldog turned up in any of tonight’s shelter or group checks either. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Late-evening check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. No French Bulldog turned up in any of tonight’s shelter or group checks either. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Evening check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread again, replies included — still nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. A gray Frenchie found today near Doyle St in north Toledo was checked against her at text level only — people in that thread call it a male, and no photo was posted that we could compare, so nothing is ruled in or out. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Afternoon check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread, replies included — nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Late-morning check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread, replies included — nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Morning check: we re-read the whole Lyman & Royalton found-Frenchie thread, replies included — nothing new since last night, and Zuri’s owner has still not posted any confirmation. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 2, 2026Overnight check: the finder in the Lyman & Royalton thread added one more reply — that Zuri “was found before this” post, about a different dog. That is still the finder’s word, not her owner’s, and her owner has still not posted any confirmation. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: a small French Bulldog was found tonight at Lyman & Royalton in West Toledo, and commenters attached Zuri’s flyer to that post. The finder herself answered in the thread that she “found a different doggie” — that found dog is not Zuri. People in the thread also said Zuri has been found, but her owner has not posted that, so we are not marking her found on secondhand word. Zuri stays listed as still missing until her owner confirms.
Oct 29, 2026Her PawBoost photo is the same photo as her Facebook post, so both listings show the same dog. LC4’s only French Bulldog right now is male; Zuri is female.
Oct 29, 2026Her Facebook post and her Petco Love Lost / Nextdoor listing (PawBoost lost #73558050) are the same dog at the text level. Comparing the photos across those channels is still an open task on our board — not done yet, and we say so.
Gizmo
Cat · Domestic shorthair, male (neutered), large adult
Still missingCash reward · amount not posted
MISSING: About Oct 20, 2026 FROM: Berkshire & Matlack, Toledo
Look for: gray tabby with white — white muzzle, chest, belly patch, and paws (front paws fully white), pink nose, tabby striping on his back, head, and legs. An indoor cat, out for the first time.
Owner Taylor Clark: contact via the owner’s post
Our checks & updates
Nov 2, 2026Night check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is 41 cats — Springsteen is still listed and there is no new cat. A white-and-gray porch cat reported tonight near Park St & Central was photographed only by a doorbell camera with its face down, so nothing can be tied to or cleared against Gizmo. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Late-morning check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is unchanged at 41 cats — Springsteen (the cat in his open lead) is still listed and there are no new cats. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Morning check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is unchanged at 41 cats — Springsteen (the cat in his open lead) is still listed and there are no new cats. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Overnight check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is unchanged at 41 cats — Springsteen (the cat in his open lead) is still listed and there are no new cats. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is now 41 cats — one cat with no open check has left the list, Springsteen (the cat in his open lead) is still listed, and there are no new cats. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: Toledo Humane’s cat list still includes Springsteen, the cat in his one open lead, and there is no new cat to check against him. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Afternoon check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is now 42 cats — one cat with no open check has left the list, the gray tabby in the open check below is still listed, and there are no new cats. A tabby found in Perrysburg today matches at a generic level only — not a match. Gizmo is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Midday check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is unchanged (43 cats), and the gray tabby in the open check below is still listed — no new cats and no change to the open check. Gizmo is still missing.
Oct 31, 2026Evening check: Toledo Humane’s cat list is confirmed at 43 cats tonight, and the gray tabby in the open check below (Springsteen) is still listed — no new cats and no change to the open check. Gizmo is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026Text-only note, not a match: a gray cat with a white splash on his chest was found near Timbo’s in Sylvania, where he had been showing up hungry for about a week. A closer look at the finder’s photos shows a gray tabby with a white muzzle, a white splash down the chest, and both front paws fully white — markings a lot like Gizmo’s. Gizmo’s owner reached out in that post, and the finder compared the cat to Gizmo’s post and said he is not the same cat. We still could not pull the photo file for our own full comparison, so this stays a text-only note — we are not calling it Gizmo, and Gizmo is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026The same Toledo Humane tabby from the open check below was also filed today on Petco Love Lost (found Oct 29). A photo identity check confirms it is the same cat — the open check stands, with both listings now on record.
Oct 29, 2026A gray tabby male with a white chest and paws at Toledo Humane (listed through Petco) could not be settled either way from his photo. He stays an open check — not a match, not ruled out.
Oct 29, 2026Owner’s post collected and his photo ID written into our board. No update found as of Oct 29.

Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026That same Toledo Humane tabby is ruled out for Chubbs on his photo: a full white chest and bib, where Chubbs has no white at all.

N. Superior St Puppy
Dog · Pit bull puppy · name not published
Still missingReward offered · amount not posted
MISSING: Oct 16, 2026 FROM: 1900 block of N Superior St by Avalon (between Buckeye & Galena, near Summit), Toledo
Look for: blue merle with a split face — the right half of the face solid gray, the left half merle and white. White blaze on the muzzle, pale blue eyes, one white front paw, gray nose. Not Sargent, higher on this board: this puppy is merle with a split face.
The puppy got out of the yard and was reported to police and shelters.
Gracie Peeker (the puppy is her daughter’s):(567) 457-2389
Our checks & updates
Nov 2, 2026Possible lead — our two photo reads disagree, so we are not calling it either way: a brown merle pit bull named Zaza came into LC4 today (A055309) and her photo was posted. Our own comparison leans not her — this puppy’s eyes are pale blue and his face is split, one solid gray half and one mottled half, while Zaza’s eyes are amber and her blaze is centered. A second, independent photo check read the same two photos and said same dog. When our checks disagree, the honest label is possible, and the decider is an in-person look: Zaza is in kennel A43 at LC4, and a family visit would settle the eye color and the face in seconds. She is also about a year old, where this puppy was a young pup in mid-October. The search continues either way.
Nov 2, 2026Ruled out: on a closer look, the nose markings settle it — this puppy’s nose is solid gray, and Zaza’s is black with pink mottling. Not the same dog. The search continues.
Oct 30, 2026Lead closed — ruled out on photos: LC4 posted a photo of the white-and-gray puppy who came in today (A055579). He is mostly white with one solid gray patch over one eye and ear — no merle mottling anywhere. Our photo comparison, checked by a second reviewer, says he is not this puppy. The search continues.
Oct 30, 2026Text-only lead, not a match: a white-and-gray pit bull mix puppy, about 4 months old, came into LC4 today (A055579). He has no photo on file yet, so we cannot compare him to this puppy’s split face — the lead stays text-only until a photo posts.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s full list checked: no merle pit puppy on it.
Oct 29, 2026Posts collected and the photo ID written into our board. No update found as of Oct 29.
Oct 29, 2026The photo here is from the owner’s Oct 17 post; the group post itself held only a screenshot of a phone screen.
Scrappie
Cat · Spayed female, 2 years old
ReunitedReward offered · amount not posted
TAKEN: Oct 23, 2026, 11:25 AM FROM: LaPoint Discount Auto Parts, Holland, Ohio
Look for: pale dilute cream-orange tabby with white — orange patches on either side of her nose and mouth, a white blaze up the center of her face, a large white chest, white front legs, a ringed tail with a dark tip, yellow-green eyes.
She was taken by two men in a van. The van was later located on Toledo’s east side, and a police report was filed.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: someone asked under a found-cat post tonight whether that cat was Scrappie; the answer in the thread was no — she is home safe. (The found cat is an older male from East Toledo.)
Oct 31, 2026Reunited! A post from her shop’s family this evening says Scrappie has been brought home, and thanks the Island Variety carry-out team on Toledo’s east side for their help searching for her. We’re marking Scrappie found on that word — the happy ending this board exists for. The post doesn’t say where she was found, so we’re not guessing.
Oct 29, 2026Her flyer was shared again this afternoon in three local groups, with a more precise last reported location: the 800 block of Kingston Ave, East Toledo, where she was reportedly released. Still unverified — no photo, and no sighting in the comments.
Oct 29, 2026Her owner’s update, reshared today, adds a report of her last seen in the Kingston Ave area in Toledo. Unverified — no photo.
Oct 28, 2026Every comment and nested reply on her posts read: zero sightings.
Oct 28, 2026“Crush,” an orange-and-white cat at Toledo Humane, ruled out on photos.
Oct 28, 2026A porch-cat sighting from Oct 24 ruled out on the full-resolution photo.
Oct 28, 2026115 Petco Love Lost cards from Oct 23–28 checked. Two Paws & Whiskers cards have no image, so those two can’t be ruled in or out — a named blind spot.
Oct 28, 2026She has no PawBoost lost listing. Her reward was raised on Oct 27; the amount has not been posted.
Dilcy
Dog · Pomeranian & Chihuahua mix, female, 2 years old, 15 lbs
Still missing
MISSING: Mar 21, 2026 FROM: Cincinnati, per her flyer — with a Toledo report too; see below
Look for: long tan-orange coat, cream chest and face, plumed tail. Her flyer lists her colors as white and tan. Her flyer photo is small, so her written description carries most of the ID.
Her HomeAgain flyer lists Gebert St & Jefferson Ave, Cincinnati. A Toledo reshare says her owner reports she was taken and may be in the Toledo area. Both are printed because we cannot resolve the split from here. She is microchipped.
Nov 3, 2026A post reported a deceased fox-colored Pomeranian on the I-475 Talmadge offramp in Toledo. The post has no photo, sex, or collar details, so there is nothing to compare — it cannot be tied to Dilcy or cleared from her. It is logged as an unidentified Pomeranian; Dilcy stays listed as missing.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s full list checked: no female Pomeranian/Chihuahua on it.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board. Flyer read in full; Toledo reshare harvested.
Boba
Cat · Female
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 27, 2026 FROM: Western Ave & the trail, Toledo
Look for: solid blue-gray, no white markings anywhere, plush short coat, large ears, pink paw pads. Her main photo is asleep with her eyes closed, which limits the ID; we watch for a better photo.
Owner Van Nah: contact via the owner’s post (Toledo and surrounding area lost and found pets)
Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026A solid gray cat filed as found today by Toledo Humane (through Petco) was compared on photos — ours and a second, independent check — and ruled out: its coat carries a rusty-brown tinge and its face and ears are built differently from Boba’s.
Oct 29, 2026Toledo Humane’s solid gray female came in Sep 29, a month before Boba went missing — not her. Their other solid gray cat is male.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board.
Kepler
Cat · Male, large
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 25, 2026 FROM: Southwyck, off Reynolds & Heatherdowns, Toledo
Look for: large solid black cat, green-yellow eyes. His owner lists a small white spot on his chest and thinning patches in front of his ears; the chest spot does not show in this belly-up photo, so those come from his owner’s words. Not declawed, no collar, an indoor cat.
Owner Ryan Reffert: contact via the owner’s post. Also listed on PawBoost (73568611).
Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026A black cat filed as found today by Toledo Humane (through Petco) was compared on photos — ours and a second, independent check — and ruled out: its white runs over its chin, chest, and front paws, where Kepler’s only white is a small chest spot.
Oct 29, 2026Toledo Humane’s two large black males both came in before Kepler went missing (Sep 23 and Oct 20) — not him.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board.
Mouse
Cat · Maine Coon mix, male
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 28, 2026 FROM: Near 213 Plum St and the school, Columbus Grove, Ohio
Look for: long-haired brown tabby with a dark M on his forehead, warm brown tones, white chin and a small white chest patch, pink-brown nose, green eyes, long whiskers. His owner adds a white ring around his tail (not visible in this photo) and says he is very scared: do not chase.
He is not microchipped.
Owner Chad Gossard-Miller: contact via the owner’s post
Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026Toledo Humane’s long-haired brown tabby is female; Mouse is male — not him.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board.
Ricky
Cat · Tabby, male
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 16, 2026 FROM: Curtice & Wynn, Northwood, Ohio
Look for: brown-gray tabby with bold dark striping, dark bars on his forehead, green eyes, pink nose, cream chin. Microchipped, no collar, friendly. This photo is cropped from his owner’s screenshot of her post, so it is lower quality than most on this board; it is labeled as such, not hidden.
Owners Elisabeth Bartic / Elleeah Aurora: contact via their posts. Also on PawBoost (73526907).
Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026The Toledo Humane gray tabby male is ruled out on his photo: a full white chest, where Ricky has a cream chin only.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board.
Whitmer Tabby
Cat · Tabby, male (not neutered)
Under review
POSTED: Oct 27, 2026 NEAR: Whitmer High School off Douglas, Toledo
Look for: brown tabby, very friendly, no collar. A wide white blaze runs up his nose and face; white muzzle, chin, and chest; green eyes; dark tabby striping.
Honest limit: his photo shows him outdoors at night being fed, and the post does not say clearly whether he is her lost cat or a stray staying near her home. We cross-check him against both lost and found reports.
Poster Kaylee Dumkow: contact via the post
Our checks & updates
Oct 29, 2026That same Toledo Humane tabby was also filed today on Petco Love Lost (found Oct 29); a photo identity check confirms it is the same cat. The open check stands, with both listings on record.
Oct 29, 2026The Toledo Humane gray tabby male could not be settled either way against this cat from photos. He stays an open check.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board with the lost-or-found ambiguity printed. Ruled out against one Toledo Humane tabby during another case’s checks.
Jax
Dog · Miniature Pinscher type, small
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 25, 2026 (reported Oct 28) FROM: Sherbrooke / Berdan area, Toledo
Look for: small black-and-tan dog with tan brow dots, tan muzzle, chest, and legs, and dark marbled (merle) mottling on the legs and flank. Floppy folded ears. In his photo he wears a red paisley bandana collar with a bone-shaped tag. He is male (confirmed on his owner’s own posts).
Contact: via the Nextdoor post (poster E. R.). He also surfaced the same day on Petco Love Lost.
Our checks & updates
Nov 1, 2026A collar was found on Dorr Street today and people in that thread wondered about Jax; a reply in the thread said it is not Jax, the collar in the photo is not the red bandana collar in his, and there is no photo of that dog to check ourselves — so we are not counting it either way. He is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026His own lost-pet poster (Pet FBI) showed up on Petco Love Lost today — same Jax, lost Oct 25 near Sherbrooke Road. Not a sighting; he is still missing.
Oct 31, 2026His missing post is still being shared around Toledo lost-pet groups — Jax is still missing. No new sightings reported.
Oct 30, 2026Owner update: a small loose dog was spotted near Burnham and Capistrano on Oct 29. Someone tried to catch it, but it ran into a backyard. His owners searched that area around midnight with no luck and are asking neighbors to check security cameras. This sighting is not confirmed as Jax — it is a new search area, shared here so neighbors nearby can keep an eye out.
Oct 30, 2026His owner’s own search posts fill in the record: Jax went missing Oct 25 from the Sherbrooke / Berdan area, and she reports a sighting near Meadowbrook Court, heading toward Sherbrooke. He is a merle Miniature Pinscher.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s full list checked: every small black-and-tan dog on it was already there before Jax went missing.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board.
Spottie
Dog · Pit type, female
Reunited
MISSING: Oct 27, 2026 LAST SEEN: Near Broadway, Toledo 43609
Look for: white with large brown patches — a tan patch around her left eye and big brown saddle patches over her back and side. One ear up, one folded. Blue collar in her photo.
Contact: via PawBoost (listing 73564456)
Our checks & updates
Nov 3, 2026Reunited! A re-check of Spottie’s own PawBoost listing shows it now marked Reunited — home about two days after she went missing, around Oct 29. People posting under her alert had hinted she was found, and they were right. We’re glad she’s home.
Nov 2, 2026Night check: LC4’s one new arrival is a black-and-white female mixed breed with no photo posted yet — her listed colors are black and white, where Spottie’s patches are brown, so she does not fit at the description level. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Late-evening check: the LC4 photos we were waiting on are now posted, and we compared them against Spottie: the brown male (A055589) is the wrong sex and mostly brown where she is mostly white, and the senior red Australian Shepherd (A055602) and the small male Russell Terrier (A055605) do not fit her either. LC4’s newest female (A055614) is white with black patches — Spottie’s are brown. LC4’s list stands at 100 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Evening check: photos have now been posted for the three watched LC4 dogs (A055589, A055602 and A055605) — comparing them against Spottie is next, and we will say so plainly once it is done. LC4’s one new arrival is a black-and-white female pit bull (A055613): her listed colors are black and white, where Spottie’s patches are brown, so she does not fit at the description level. LC4’s list now stands at 100 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Afternoon check: a brown merle female pit bull who came into LC4 today (A055309) was ruled out on photos — she is mostly dark brown with a white blaze, where Spottie is mostly white with large brown patches, and an independent photo check agreed. The three watched LC4 dogs (A055589, A055602 and A055605) are still listed with no photos. LC4’s list now stands at 101 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Late-morning check: the three watched LC4 dogs (A055589, A055602 and A055605) are still listed with no photos, so there is still nothing new to compare her against. LC4’s list is unchanged at 97 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Morning check: the two watched LC4 dogs (A055589 and A055602) are still listed with no photos, so there is still nothing new to compare her against. LC4’s one new arrival is a male Parson Russell Terrier with no photo — not a match for her. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Early-morning check: the two watched LC4 dogs (A055589 and A055602) are still listed with no photos, so there is still nothing new to compare her against. LC4’s list is unchanged at 96 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Overnight check: the two watched LC4 dogs (A055589 and A055602) are still listed with no photos, so there is still nothing new to compare her against. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: Wood County has now posted the Pursell Rd dog’s photo (her shelter name is Leah): she is mostly white with large black patches and a black patch around her right eye. Spottie’s patches are brown, with her patch around her left eye — not a match. A055589 is still listed at LC4 with no photo. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: A055589 is still listed at LC4 with no photo, and a second watched dog (A055602) still has no photo either. Wood County has posted a new female pit mix found on Pursell Rd in the Fostoria / Perry Township area, and we are checking her against the found dog reported there yesterday. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Afternoon check: a new brown-and-white female who arrived at LC4 today (A055600) has been ruled out on photos — she is mostly brown with a white chest, the reverse of Spottie’s white coat with brown patches, and an independent photo check agreed. A055589 is still listed with no photo. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Midday check: LC4’s list is confirmed at 97 dogs by two independent reads, and A055589 is still listed with no photo — still nothing we can honestly compare. The brown-patched female found in Wood County still has no shelter intake post for us to check. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Update to this morning’s check: one of the two Oct 30 pit bulls we were watching at LC4 (A055588) has left the shelter’s list — she never had a photo posted, so there was never anything we could honestly compare, and no ruling either way. The other (A055589) is still listed, still with no photo. LC4’s list now stands at 97 dogs. Spottie is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Morning check: LC4’s list is unchanged (98 dogs), and the two Oct 30 pit bulls we are watching (A055588 and A055589) still have no photos posted. A young brown-and-white pit was also reported loose yesterday afternoon on Consaul Street in East Toledo — no photo and no sex were reported, so it stays a text-only note, not a match. Spottie is still missing.
Oct 31, 2026Evening check: LC4’s list is unchanged tonight (98 dogs, no new arrivals), and two brown female pit bulls who came in Oct 30 (A055588 and A055589) still have no photos posted — until a photo goes up there is nothing we can honestly compare, so no new ruling either way. Spottie is still missing.
Oct 30, 2026A tan female pit bull who came into LC4 today (A055583) was ruled out on photos: she is solid pale tan all over, a stocky bully type with cropped ears — Spottie is mostly white with large brown patches. Spottie is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026An orange-and-white pit was reported running loose near Adella off Laskey this evening with a Basset Hound (the pit ran off; the Basset was reported on its way to LC4, but had not appeared on LC4’s list when we checked this evening). No photo and no sex were reported, and the color came secondhand — it is in range for Spottie at text level only, so we are not calling it a match. We are watching for a found post or shelter intake from that area.
Oct 29, 2026LC4’s A055559 ruled out on photos: her face is a brown mask over both eyes; Spottie’s face is mostly white with a tan patch around one eye. Spottie is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board. Her PawBoost listing still shows her as lost; comments under the alert suggest she may have been found, which we could not verify, so she stays listed as missing until the owner or the listing confirms. An earlier colors-only possible shelter match gets a real photo check in the next sweep.
Cali
Cat · Calico, female
Still missing
MISSING: Oct 19, 2026 FROM: Near 3802 Maxwell Rd, Toledo 43613
Look for: calico — orange, black, and white patches; white belly and chest; her face is split orange on one side and dark on the other; green eyes, pink nose. Her owner lists a clipped left ear, an orange left front leg with a white paw, a black right front leg with a white paw, and a very short tail. Her photo and her owner’s description agree on the legs and pattern.
She was posted to Nextdoor on Oct 26.
Owner Heather K.: contact via her Petco Love Lost listing (124648347)
Our checks & updates
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: a friendly calico found last night on Sherwood Ave off the Anthony Wayne Trail is being held by her finder. She has a full-length tail and both ears whole — Cali’s tail is very short and her left ear is clipped, so this is not Cali. Cali is still missing.
Oct 29, 2026Toledo Humane’s dilute calico-type female came in Sep 29, before Cali went missing, and her ear is not clipped — not her.
Oct 29, 2026Added to the board. An earlier sweep recorded her as having no photo; that was true only of the Nextdoor card. Her Petco listing has a photo, and it is the one shown here.

Poppet
Larger solid black cat.
Clipped left ear (per her listing).
Her listing mentions no collar; the photo shows a Halloween bandana from home.
Home safe. Poppet was reunited with her family around Oct 30, 2026.
Lost Oct 28, 2026 · Willis Blvd near Foxglove Metropark, Toledo 43623
No action needed — she is home.
Our checks & updates
Nov 3, 2026Reunited! A re-check of her own PawBoost listing this morning shows it marked Reunited — she was home about two days after she went missing, around Oct 30. That also closes two leads we were carrying: the Sylvania patio cat first appeared Nov 1, after she was already home, so it is not Poppet, and the cat found at Erie & Centennial on Oct 30 was not her either. We are glad she is home.
Nov 2, 2026Night check: a solid black cat was reported tonight outside the Circle K on Tremainsville — the poster thinks its ear is clipped, like Poppet’s, but the photos do not show the ear clearly and the cat’s sex is unknown, so it stays an unverified watch note, not a match. Poppet is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Late-evening check: still no reply about the Sylvania cat taken to a vet on Oct 30, and the patio-cat thread gained only a tag tonight — nothing new answered. The possible-match lead stands as reported. Poppet is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Evening check: we are still waiting on a reply about the Sylvania cat taken to a vet on Oct 30, and this morning’s black patio-cat lead stands as reported. Poppet is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Afternoon check: the patio-cat thread had two more comments today — a tag, and a question about whether the cat is missing a bottom tooth. Nothing new was answered, and the possible-match lead below stands as it was. Poppet is still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Second text-only lead, not confirmed: a solid black cat with a clipped left ear has been visiting a back patio near Reynolds & Central in Sylvania Township several times a day, and the poster is trying to get it to the Humane Society. The details published line up with Poppet — solid black, clipped left ear, larger build, her home area — but its sex is unknown, it wears no collar (Poppet’s was yellow with a bell; collars slip), and we could not pull its photo for our own full comparison, so this stays a text-only lead. We are not calling it Poppet, and she stays listed as still missing.
Nov 1, 2026Update on the patio cat: we obtained the patio photos and compared them ourselves, plus an independent photo check. Nothing in the photos conflicts with Poppet — solid black, no white, same build, same area — but black cats carry few distinguishing marks, and the clipped ear cannot be confirmed from the photos on either side, so the check could not settle it. The lead is upgraded to a possible match, unconfirmed. Poppet stays listed as still missing.
Oct 30, 2026Text-only lead, not confirmed: a black female cat with a tipped ear and no microchip was found injured this morning at Erie Rd & Centennial Rd in Sylvania and did not survive. Poppet is a black female with a clipped ear, so we are recording the lead — but the post has no photo and no collar was reported, so nobody can say from the public record whether it was Poppet. She stays listed as still missing.
Oct 30, 2026Added to the board from her PawBoost lost listing (ID 73570449). A friendly cat found at Foxglove Park on Oct 26 was photo-checked and ruled out: that cat is gray with white markings, not black.

Cocoa
Nov 2, 2026Overnight check: a very sweet orange cat with a clipped ear and a bell collar followed someone home from a gas station in the Laskey/Jackman area and is staying at her door. Clipped ear + bell collar are Cocoa’s two markers and that area is near her home, so we have joined it to her record as a text-only lead — the post has no photo, and the cat’s sex and collar color are not stated, so nothing is confirmed. Cocoa is still missing.
Nov 2, 2026Early-morning update on that same lead: a commenter on the found-cat post suggested the cat could be a different missing orange cat, Mr. Chonkers, and attached his flyer. That is a commenter’s suggestion, not evidence either way — the found cat has no photo and no stated sex, so our text-only lead for Cocoa stands unresolved alongside it. Cocoa is still missing.
Tiger-striped tabby with a light brown spot on the back of her neck.
Clipped ear and a belly tattoo (she is spayed).
Last seen wearing a dark pink collar with a bell.
Look for: Tiger tabby, light brown neck spot, pink collar with a bell.

April: 419-834-4439. If you see her: note the exact spot and time and call April. A photo helps confirm it is her.
Our checks & updates
Nov 2, 2026Night check: an orange female cat found tonight at Phillips & Sylvania was checked against Cocoa — her ears are whole and unclipped in her photos, where Cocoa’s ear is clipped, so she is not a match at the description level. Cocoa is still missing.

White cat (Birckhead Pl)
All white, about 12 lbs, neutered male.
Gray streak on top of his head between his ears — his giveaway marking.
Pink nose, green eyes, long white tail. His name was not in the family's post.
Look for: All white with a gray streak on his head.
Lost Oct 21, 2026 · Birckhead Place (Cherry & Mettler), Toledo
If you see him: note the exact spot and time, take a photo if you can do it safely, and contact Nichole Fifer through her Facebook post.
Our checks & updates
Nov 3, 2026Morning check: a found all-white male cat was filed with Toledo Animal Rescue (Petco Love Lost, found in Toledo 43609, dated Nov 2). Pink nose and eye color line up at description level, but the photo description does not mention the gray streak on his head, and we could not pull a photo file to compare properly — so this is a watch note only, not a match, and nothing has been ruled in or out.

Diamond
Her family's photo shows two dogs together, and the post does not say which one is Diamond.
The large dog is a chocolate-brown bully with a white diamond-shaped patch on her forehead, a white neck ring, and cropped ears; the small dog is a fluffy black-and-tan Yorkie type.
If either dog is out alone, treat it as a possible Diamond and report it.
Look for: Pictured with her housemate — see the ID notes.
Still missing per her family's Oct 20, 2026 post · Toledo area (street not stated in the post)
If you see either dog: note the exact spot and time, take a photo if you can do it safely, and contact Joseph Stone or Laleta Dobbs Stone through their Facebook post.
Our checks & updates
Nov 1, 2026Text-only note, not a match: a “se busca” post in a Toledo group shows a small Yorkie with a long tan face and a grey body, much like the small dog in Diamond’s family photo. The post gives no name, place or date, and we could not pull its photo for our full comparison. Diamond is still missing.

Our checks & updates
Oct 30, 2026A white-and-brown pit puppy who came into LC4 today (A055584) was ruled out on photos: she has brown over both ears and a full tan saddle over her back; Babi’s tan is a patch over her left eye and ear only. Babi is still missing.
